1) Reservations & Confirmation

• Reservations are requested through our website or by contacting us directly.
• A booking is confirmed only after we accept the request and the required deposit is paid.

2) Payment Terms

• A 10% deposit is required to reserve your date/time.
• The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to the sail date.
• If full payment is not received by the 14-day deadline, we may cancel the booking and release the date/time.

3) Cancellation & Refund Policy

Our Cancellation & Refund Policy applies and is incorporated into these Terms. In summary:

• Cancellations more than 14 days prior may be eligible for a refund (minus processing fees).
• Cancellations within 14 days are generally non-refundable.
• Weather/safety cancellations by us may be rescheduled or refunded (minus processing fees), at your choice.
• No refunds once the charter begins for early return or trip interruption due to guest preference, seasickness, weather discomfort, schedule changes, or other personal reasons.

4) Weather, Safety & Captain’s Authority

• Charters are subject to safe weather and sea conditions.
• The captain may alter the route, itinerary, or timing for safety or operational reasons.
• If unsafe conditions require cancellation, rescheduling or refunds will be handled per our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

5) Guest Responsibilities

Guests agree to:

• Follow all safety instructions from captain and crew
• Treat the vessel and equipment with care
• Behave respectfully toward crew and other guests

We reserve the right to end a charter without refund if guest behavior creates safety risk or significant disruption.

6) Assumption of Risk

Boating involves inherent risks including, but not limited to, changing sea conditions, slips/falls, seasickness, weather changes, and equipment hazards. By participating, you assume these risks.

7) Liability Limitation

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Salt-n-Sun Charters is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to your booking or participation. This does not exclude liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8) Personal Belongings

Guests are responsible for their personal belongings. We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal items.

9) Photos & Media

We may take photos or video during charters for marketing. If you prefer not to be photographed, please notify us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate.
